Formed in 2026, IndieMotors is a privately owned and operated online marketplace built for the UK’s independent dealer network. Simple subscriptions, no commission on sales, and none of the noise that comes with the larger franchise dealerships - just a platform focused on supporting local businesses and promoting local listings.
Franchise dealer groups have marketing budgets, national visibility, and dedicated sales teams. Independent dealers have the local reputation, the personal service, and often the better deal - they just don’t always have the platform to match. IndieMotors exists to close that gap.

Giving back to local communities
IndieMotors only exists because independent dealers trust it with their stock - so when the platform starts making money, a meaningful share of it goes back to the communities those dealers actually trade in, not to a head-office cause with no local connection. It’s a commitment we’re building in from the start, not an afterthought once things are comfortable.
20% of profit
Once IndieMotors is profitable, a fifth of that profit goes straight back out to charity - not held back for reinvestment, not decided by us.
Split by region
We work out how much of that 20% was generated by dealers trading in each region, so money raised in your area goes to a cause chosen in your area - not wherever happens to be loudest.
Dealers vote, every 6 months
Every 6 months, approved dealers trading in a region nominate and vote on the charity their region’s share should go to. We run the vote and write the cheque - the choice is entirely theirs.
This only kicks in once the platform is genuinely profitable - we’d rather promise something real and slightly later than something vague and immediate.
